I always love unconventional and unexpected family portraits, so when I was approached by Chip to illustrate his family in my style I was excited. He also gave me a lot of leeway to interpret his family unit (always a good thing!).
Saw this piece in person over the holidays at my friends Chip & Michelle’s place. It’s such an amazing rendering of their family. Am now fully obsessed with Stacey Rozich’s work.
It is pretty rare that I question my decision to leave theater for a career in libraries. But today Jake’s job seems about a zillion times better than mine.
Also, I am continually amazed by his skill as a craftsperson!
